Eudora Pro 3.0 from Qualcomm

To configure an email account with ADANet the general information you need are:

     blupike.gif (123 bytes) POP3 server is mail.adanet.com.al
     blupike.gif (123 bytes) SMTP server mail.adanet.com.al
blupike.gif (123 bytes) Return address is user@adanet.com.al (where user is your account name)

  1. Open Eudora; go under menu Tools and select Options
  2. POP account is ilir@mail.adanet.com.al
  3. Real Name is the name you want to appear at your email messages (e.g. Ilir Dibra)
  4. Connection method is Winsock.
  5. Under personal info put your return address like ilir@adanet.com.al
  6. Go to Hosts and put mail.albnet.net as your SMTP server
  7. Under Checking mail on your left check Save Password and the program will not ask you over and over for you password (this is optional, but we recommend it to you in order that your email program will be more easy to use)
  8. Go to Sending Mail (always on you left) and uncheck immediate send. This is optional too, but we recommend this setting for you). This is done to avoid frequent phone line use each time you have to send an email. To send your email after you write them use Send Queued Messages from the file menu.
  9. Go down on the Category List on your left until you reach advanced network; check automatically dial & hang-up this connection and choose ADANet from the list of the connections.
  10. Put the username of your Internet account in the username field and check save password (in order that the program will not ask you for your connection password again and again). If you do not have an Internet account with ADANet call us at 51633 to get an account in order to use your email.
  11. Press OK in order to save your changes. Press check mail on the file menu. The first password you are asked for is the password of your email account, which will be given to you with your email account. The second password you are asked for is the password for your Internet account. Or the password given to you after you call at step 10 (in case when you do not have a ADANet Internet account).
